What is TAMUmake?

TAMUmake is a 24-hour hardware hackathon where you and your teammates design and create a project of your choosing. Hardware and workshops will be provided to assist you with your project! Don't have a team? Don't worry! We will allow team forming at the event! It's more fun to hack and make with friends!

10:00 am - Paper Airplane Competition

2:00 pm - Raffle #3

4:00 pm - Cup Stacking

6:00 pm - Dinner

8:00 pm - Hackathon Ends, Judging Begins

8:45 pm - Awards Ceremony


Who can attend?

Anybody who has a valid student ID! We welcome anyone regardless of hackathon experience!

Where is the event?

TAMUmake will be hosted at the Hildebrand Equine Complex (3240 F and B Road College Station, TX 77843)

Will transportation be provided?

Yes! We will be providing shuttles from TAMU campus to Hildebrand. The bus will depart from Wisenbaker prior to when the event starts and will take you back to Wisenbaker when the event is finished.

Where can I park?

The Hildebrand Equine Complex offers free parking at the complex throughout the entire event.

How do teams work?

You can form teams prior to the event; teams must be a size of 4 people. However, we will allow team forming at the opening ceremony.

What should I bring?

Student ID, a valid ID proving you are over 18 years old, laptop, chargers, toiletries, unprogrammed hardware, or anything else you believe you will need within the 24 hours.

Do I need to pay to attend?

Absolutely not! Free things are awesome.

What are the rules?

All work must be done at the event. You can only demo something you built.
